Superior Joining Method – For the majority of applications, welding is a superior method for permanent joining of metal parts, as opposed to screws, glue, or rivets. Precision welding utilizing Electron Beams or Lasers in particular provide exceptionally deep weld penetration with a minimal heat affected zone. Often Electron Beam or Laser Beam welding are the only viable joining options for highly engineered parts and assemblies.
Onshore Quality / Offshore Price – Sending parts offshore is perceived to provide cost benefits, but at the expense of quality and the ease of doing business.
